School Staff


  • Staff drill once a month at the  Division (HQ) drill for planning sessions.

  • Instructors must have documentation of Instructor training on active or reserve
    duty or have completed the resident TNSG Academy Instructor course.

  • Officers must show similar documentation or have completed the resident TNSG  
    Instructional Managers Course. State teacher's certification and teaching
    experience will suffice for NCO or Officer Instructors.

  • The normal tour of duty at the school will be two years, to facilitate stabilization.
    Extensions will be welcomed.

  • All staff are required to be computer proficient and be online at another location
    other than Academy. Most work will be done at home with your own computer. Be
    prepared to spend at least one hour a day on your home computer to serve as a
    teacher in a class.

  • Computer competencies required:
     MS Word
     MS EXCEL
     MS Power Point
     PhotoShop or PhotoShop Elements
     Adobe Acrobat and/or Nitro PDF

Adjunct Instructors are being sought. Instructor must be willing to commit one hour per day seven days a
week to working online at his/her home computer. Instructors will monitor classes and tutor students. This
must be a long term commitment (2 years) and not undertaken casually. Instructors must be graduates of the
courses they monitor.
